CORRUPTION & BEASTHOOD

LOW LEVEL

Sakura's corruption starts off with a lingering feeling of self-doubt. It targets her looks, her abilities, her knowledge, and even her relationships. At first she will be able to rationalize it and it won't have any outward impact, but it will become worse as her levels increase, eventually leading to her starting to seek reassurance. While any affectionate words may temporarily soothe her, the anxiety will return within twenty-four hours, and she will get caught in a loop of seeking reassurance to make it go away.

MID LEVEL

The painful levels of self-criticism will eventually make Sakura start to bury herself in her work and training. She will become obsessed with the idea of making herself worthy of the people she cares about and will work herself to the bone trying to convince herself she's as good as the people around her. As the training begins to exhaust her, she will start to lose control of her powers at moments, particularly her strength. What might have been meant to be a friendly clap on the back could send someone flying into a wall due to her strength going haywire or she may start to have unreliable results in her healing jutsus.

HIGH LEVEL

As it reaches its highest levels of corruption, Sakura's body will permanently activate the Strength of a Hundred Seal. Sakura will have the black marks over her body and will be unable to tamper her abilities because of it. This will put her healing powers at their highest, but will also make it so that her strength is nearly incapable of being controlled. It could destroy small patches of land just from her setting something down too roughly. Because it requires so much energy, Sakura will begin to pass out at random, unable to keep up with the toll it takes on her body.

BEASTHOOD

When her body can no longer maintain the energy to keep going, Sakura will turn into a slim, pale pink fox with a large jewel in the center of its forehead. She will seek out those who are injured or emotionally hurting, curling up around their injury or laying across their shoulders to bring them comfort. As she lays on them, the injury will heal itself completely over the course of about ten minutes. She will also be able to soothe feelings of anxiety, depression, guilt, or other negative emotions by having her curled into you. The longer she stays, the more calm you will feel. Sakura can be turned back into her human form by having the people she cares for open up to her honestly. It doesn't have to be with purely negative or troubled feelings, but any thoughts that are in their head that they may not have the ability to tell other people. Instead of simply leeching off of her healing and calming presence, fully being able to listen to how others are feeling and have them rely on her will finally give her the confidence to return to her usual self.
